We realize that we are really focused on breeding minis, so we have decided to rehome our beloved Beau. Beau is an AKC standard poodle, he is a sable - and has settled into his color - maintaining phantom like markings. He is so unique, beautiful and striking that we are often stopped by folks who want to know,  "What kind of dog is that?"

He is housebroken to my stay at home dog mom schedule. He is kennel trained, but much prefers to roam freely in the house. He is not destructive, he is good with cats and other dogs.    

Personality wise I always describe him as a real-life Goofy - just the way he frolics and bounces about is so...goofy! He is calm, and he sees himself as a very small dog in a large dog's body. He want's to be a lap dog, alas he is too big, so he settles for a paw and his nose on your knee. He is an adorable, loyal companion.     Beau is looking for a household ideally with another medium sized dog who loves to play. With a standard poodle we recommend a 6 ft fence if you live in a high traffic area.
